TalentSpace is a platform that functions as the underlying infrastructure for our offline Services (Talent Summits, Talent Nights, and Community initiatives) as well as online Services (matching of job-seeking candidates with companies) - collectively the “Services”. Any collection, processing and use of personal data are exclusively done for the provision of these Services. We set the highest requirements on data protection and privacy and have designed our Services to protect personal data as extensively as possible.

If you register as an employer with TalentSpace, we collect and process the following data:

What do we use your personal data for?
TalentSpace uses your personal data for the following purposes: Assessment of your eligibility to use all or some of our Services, Providing the Services you requested, Offering you the best possible user experience,Keep you updated about the status of your applications, Engagement Requests and other functionalities that are part of our Services,Informing you about our Services, changes to our Services, or about similar services that we provide,for advertising, market research, improvement of existing and creation of new innovative products, TalentSpace may use your personal data in aggregated anonymized form.
Who are the recipients of my personal data?
Your personal data in its entirety will only be visible to the personnel of TalentSpace and third-party data processors and service providers acting on behalf of us. Employers that you have proactively reached out to, or - in the case of our offline Services - all employers present at the specific event, will only have limited access to your personal data. Employers using TalentSpace’s Talent Pool only have a restricted access to your professional information, and will only receive identification and personal data after you have confirmed their request. If you participate in our offline Services, and you would like to not have your data shared with a specific employer taking part in this particular offline event, you can opt-out of the sharing by informing us in advance under firstname.lastname@example.org
Unless otherwise stated in these data protection notices, your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties unless you have expressly given your consent or we are obliged to surrender, for example due to a court order or an official order. We will never transfer or sell your data for unrelated marketing purposes to other third parties.
In order to provide you our Services and the best possible user experience, TalentSpace uses third-party service providers. In order to enable us to provide our Service, you give your consent for TalentSpace to provide the third-party service providers with the necessary personal information for data processing and use. A Cookie is a small file sent by TalentSpace to the user’s browser which is then stored on the user’s hard disk and enables users to be recognized when returning. Cookies are used by TalentSpace to statistically record and analyze the usage of the platform. The use of TalentSpace is possible without cookies, but the functionality might be limited and the user experience not as seamless. If you wish to not have cookies on your hard disk, you can limit the storage of cookies on your by selecting “Do not save cookies” in your browser settings.
TalentSpace uses Google Analytics to track the usage of the Service in order to optimize the Service for the users. All data is used in anonymized form. Google Analytics is a web analytics service for traffic monitoring of Google Inc. (“Google”). Through so-called Cookies, text files, which are stored on the user’s device, your use of TalentSpace’s Services is made possible. The information collected (IP address, access time, access duration) is then transferred to a US-based Google server and stored there. Google will, on behalf of TalentSpace, use the information to analyze the use of the Service by the user, and compile reports for us about the activities of users on our sites. Google will not be combine the IP address of a user with other data of Google. You can also disable the installation of Google Analytics cookies by changing the settings of your browser. In this case, however, you may not be able to use all Services of TalentSpace.
